Group Psychotherapy for ADHD & Autistic Boys
(8th Grade – Sophomore)
During this psychotherapy group, participants will have the opportunity to learn that they are not alone when it comes to the challenges they face in everyday social settings. Going beyond simply educating participants about social skills, the therapist leading the group will facilitate conversations amongst attendees regarding their past and current experiences; collaboratively exploring shared experiences and considering alternate perspectives of common social situations. Working together, participants will be able to explore how their current perspectives impact the ways they communicate with peers, family, and others. The goal of the group will be for participants to challenge problematic assumptions in order to increase confidence and improve overall social skills.
Group sessions begin 9/12/24 and will recur every 2 weeks on Thursday from 6:15-7:15p for 6 sessions total.
The rate is $510/individual for all 6 sessions (superbills can be provided).
