Our Learning Center’s Social Club is a four-session program designed to empower children with essential social skills and emotional intelligence. Through an engaging and interactive curriculum, kids learn to:
- Build meaningful friendships
- Understand emotions (their own and others’)
- Communicate effectively
Each session is thoughtfully structured with fun activities that promote personal growth and stronger connections with peers. The program caters to two age groups: 7–9 years old and 10–12 years old.
What Kids Will Learn
1. Executive Function & Emotions
- Learn how the brain works using the “upstairs brain” (decision-making) and “downstairs brain” (emotional responses).
- Participate in activities like building a brain and equate it to real-life social scenarios.
2. Perspective & Flexible Thinking
- Explore how people view the world differently and practice understanding other perspectives.
- Engage in hands-on exercises that teach flexible thinking to maintain friendships.
3. Non-Verbal Communication
- Play games like the “Mirror Game” and “Ball Game” to practice non-verbal cues.
- Learn about “social masking” and staying authentic while interacting with others.
4. Types of Conflict & Resolution
- Identify types of conflicts (e.g., disagreements, bullying) and healthy ways to resolve them.
- Practice steps for conflict resolution, including apologizing and repairing relationships.

For Ages 7–9
- Duration: Four 1-hour sessions
- Time: 5:15–6:15 PM
- Dates: 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/5 (Wednesdays)

- Rate: $100/child for all 4 sessions
For Ages 10–12
- Duration: Four 1-hour sessions
- Time: 5:15–6:15 PM
- Dates: 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6 (Thursdays)
